Well it is bittersweet to be here. Part of me was excited to start and part of me wanted to put off the inevitable end of the series, but there is only so much procrastinating you can do before you have to dive in!

It’s hard to find something else to say really … the descriptive style is beautiful. You are guided through the story with a gentle hand, that’s not to say that this isn’t an emotionally turbulent book, but there is such care with the writing, you are not alone in your love, loss and heartbreak.

There has been such a build up to this epic finale and it certainly doesn’t disappoint.  There are some amazingly fantastical monsters, and a few that I had to look up!

Our demon Dajjal, on a high from his win over Gage, is tearing life up left right and centre and enjoying every moment of the fear and chaos. Can the Journeymen rally together in this dark time to save themselves and the rest of mankind?

It seems we come full circle and are taken back to three friends laughing, joking and kicking ass. Though they are not who we started with, life will never be the same for those left behind. This has been a truly epic journey with twists and turns a-plenty.

There is obvious care in the writing, and it’s easy to see characterises of some of the authors close friends hidden throughout the book. The odd eyebrow raise to Pecan pie and pancakes, you can see this last been a labour of love.

I am sad to see it end, but the journey there was fantastic! I can’t wait to see what else Golden is going to share with us in the future.

So the only note I made going through this book is …How on earth could you do that to me?

That’s how far into the characters you are drawn, that it feels like I’ve gone through this marathon, epic, messed up, emotional nightmare of a book and come out the other side. Just.

I hate cliffhangers and the three days I’ve had to wait to get my hands on this book were three days too long! I really feel for anyone who read part one a while ago and has been waiting.

This really is an awful book – there’s just bad crap after bad crap that happens to this poor group. Somehow, despite all the bad stuff that happens a family is forged. A slightly psychopathic and very dysfunctional family, but a family all the same.

There is Love, there is laughter, there is friendship and comraderie. This really is a book that takes you through so many emotions. The characters are engaging and charismatic, if completely bonkers.

For anyone who has read book one it will come as no surprise that there are some fantastic sex scenes and an amazing dynamic between our King and Queen. There are some great links in with the MC and some fabulous sneek peeks at what is going on over there.

There are a whole range of secondary characters that our Queen is bringing the human side out in and I’m really looking forward to potentially seeing more of them – Joker and Angel especially.

This is another amazingly written book that leaves you looking forward to the next installment, if a little emotionally hungover 😍

I was so excited to get my hands on this book! We are straight off in to the action in the inimitable style of Golden Czermak. I love the descriptive writing style! It really helps you sink straight into this wierd and wonderful world, and holds you there, captivated and waiting.

The journey continues, emotionally turbulent and absolutely jam packed full of action!

We are off on a other adventure with Gage and Marcus, Ady and Gage and Marcus and Ty. There are ups, there are downs, there are any number of wierd and wonderful creatures – some of which I had to read twice to check I had it right.

There are, as expected, some seriously emotional moments in this book. This takes what you feel about love and questions it. There are some amazingly strong relationships in this book; not just romantically but friendship and family too.

“Love is pain. It ain’t ever easy; nothing that’s worth having is.”

I cant believe he burned a book store … that’s sacrilegious! It’s pure craziness! But then there are plenty of crazy action moments throughout the book.
This is a real page turner that keeps you captivated right through to the end. And what an end it is!

Now I know why you released books 5 and 6 together, the readers might have died or killed you haha

Wow, the writing just gets better and better. These crazy, hard ass, fucked up men sure know how to love hard!

We come in to this book after Millie has been kidnapped by The Army, we assume. Well, we know that’s where Beast, Hella and Jada are from and they’re a fairly erm interesting group. But they were born or conscripted there, as subjects.

Millie is a nun, what good would she be as a conscript? Particularly when there are people who would look for her. She is a good girl with a true faith, faith that is being tested.

And boy is she tested! What a transformation our nun goes through! By the end of the book it is clear to see that she is Melissa’s sister. This journey of self discovery is not easy and just when you feel to have your feet on firm ground the whole story changes again and morphs into something else.

There are some real low points in this book; Millie is broken, lost, falling without her faith and with no one to catch her how hard will it be when she lands?

“Like he’s trying to put my broken puzzle back together, only he was the one who shattered it in the first place”

This really is a book that keeps the pages turning. There are some fantastically amazing sex scenes; as expected, as well as an amazing play list throughout.

I love Raze, but I think most people do. He is as alpha as you can possibly be; demanding, domineering and confident. He knows just how to play things to make it all fall into place. Not as consistently crazy as Hella but certainly less contained than Beast he is the perfect product of his environment.

The threads woven through this book are fantastic and that is an ending and a half – I am so glad that I waited until book two was available before reading this one!

Which is where I’m heading now! Another amazing job x

Like many other people I have been waiting for this one for what feels like forever!

This book literally strips us back to nothing. This is not only the story of life and love between Nessa and Ryder but this is the finale of the series, and boy can you tell!

As expected, the book is action packed and there are some really harrowing moments. It really leads us through what it is to be O’Kane in its purest sense, and who better to do the than the Princess Nessa herself!

Shit gets real. You broke my heart.

I think it’s the softness that I connect with Nessa. Yes, she’s an O’Kane, she’s a close second to Dallas and Lex as the O’Kane so she is always going to have an inner strength and integrity. But, she is our little sister, she is the soft spot, the one everyone cuddles and loves just because. She’s never been a sexual being in this context before, always the sister and never the lover.

This is not just about falling in love, but about remaining in love and the different loves you have in your life. The love for your brother/sister in arms, the dependency on your other half as he/she completes you and the various different relationships we see in the book.

“A place where you belonged even if you didn’t fit in, because the only qualifications for belonging were showing up, having each others backs, and caring.”

“They found the people who carried them through the fuck ups and cherished them even though they were flawed, fallible humans.”

This friendship and love is hard to find and should be cherished when it is found.

The writing is unbelievable! The way you are led through the scenes in amazing and once I hit 50% there was no putting this down!

Lindy is a new to me author and I will definitely be reading more of her stuff!

There is such a depth of emotion and a real range of feeling in this book. I read the title and thought okay girl gets bullied girl becomes a bully, that’s the cycle, right?

Yes and no, there is so much more to this book than that! You are really drawn through the emotional process with the character, through bullied, breakdown, recovery, remission and the works. Not just with Lexie but also with Nick.

He is clearly disturbed, there are things he has witnessed or been a part of that have marred his soul. But when he meets Alexis he starts to heal. This is also the journey of two people finding themselves and each other. Healing, learning and loving.

For me, this book was really encapsulated by this quote:

“Because I want to be fearless for you, and that scares me”

Don’t we all want to be brave enough to face life head on knowing someone else is with us no matter what? Well, I do!

This is a fabulous read, I really struggled to put it down. It’s deep and emotionally raw in places, it really strips down your walls and makes you reassess who you are and what you stand for.

1 – Losing Traction Review 

I wasn’t sure who was going to be book two in this series because there are so many great characters waiting for their turn in the lime light. But boy was I glad when I realised it was Ryker!

Omg Ryker! I think I’m a little smitten with our bad boy softie! We get to see his fun playful side in Losing Traction with his banter with Phoebe, as well as seeing a bit of his man whore ish ways.

This book takes us back to their childhood and we get to see mini Ryker, Ryder, Leo and Tommy. And work our way forward in time. It’s great to see the progression, and lack of, and how they change. It was great to fill in some of the back story for the twins as well as for Leo, that really helped to round them out a bit.
It was nice to see a few old faces in the book and tie back in with Sinful Souls a touch. This is an absolute roller coaster of a ride that will leave you grabbing for the next page!

One of my favourite things was how flawed Bryleigh is. Now, don’t take that at face value. She is real, she is human, she has flaws. We all do. She makes mistakes, admits them and moves on. She doesn’t hold onto that grudge or fear, she processes it and gets on with life. She doesn’t let anything hold her back. I wish I could be more fearless sometimes too!

I’m not sure what else can be said. She has done it again. Another amazing story. I can’t wait for the next one!

I sort of read these a little out of order, this series comes after Sinful Souls MC but before 136 Scars and we have a fabulous introduction to Beast and Meadow in here!

We’ve seen snippets of Phoebe throughout most of the other books, being Blake’s sister means she has been around but not central to the boys’ story. We already have a flavour of who she is and the things she likes before coming into her story.

Blake was and lot more hands off than I was expecting in this one. After some of the things Phoebe has been through previously I expected that Blake would be all over any new relationship she thought she’d have, but then he does have his hands full at home.

Phoebe is a lot of the girl we’d all like to be, she is fun and exciting. Having grown up in the MC she knows how to look after herself afternoon has lots of, often, male centred hobbies. She shoots, she races, she modifies her cars, in fact she probably knows more about cars than most men I know. I love her strength of character and determination. Nothing is going to hold this girl back!

She’s not had life easy, growing up in the MC means she’s used to hard men. Men that work hard and play hard so earn she finds the Oakley brothers and they can keep up with her party lifestyle she’s instantly interested.

Twisted Transistor have two weeks break before heading back out on the road. What better way to spend that time than with a fun young blonde who knows how to have a good time? But what happens when than that time comes to an end?

Another fabulous story of love hard fought for. There are twists and turns turns a plenty and Amo definitely knows how to keep you turning the pages!

1 – Into The Nothing Review 

This book literally runs straight on from the first one, I read one straight after the other so no catch up required. This is the second part of the story rather than another story based around the same group of friends.

There is certainly plenty of action going on in this book! I’m not even sure where to start! I liked the continuation of the story and combination of new and old characters.

Okay so Xander is out of prison and adjusting back to civilian life. He finds out that things aren’t going well for his sister at the moment and decides that now is the time to complete the journey he set out on so long ago and find her. But once he gets there he bottles it and tells her he is someone else, what a big girl!

Things quickly spiral out of control and they all find themselves in one hell of a situation! I really liked the comraderie and teamwork even with outsiders. I enjoyed the back stories for the characters and thought they fit in well together, there were genuine connections throughout.

This is certainly a book that you are not going to want to put down once you start! The writing is great, the characters are fun, they are living life to the max!

There are some serious sections through the book and what feels to be real reflection from the author as to the changes when returning from war. There is joy, there is pain, there is family and love. This really is a story that has it all 😊
