The Bandit Review

Title: The Bandit

Author: Bebe Reid

Another action packed adventure from Bebe Reid! She definately writes some seriously asshole alpha males. Infact, they’re about as asshole ish as you could manage while still being redeemable  … maybe.

I loved it. I absolutely loved it. I got to about 2 points in the book and thought ‘this must be it the big build up to the end’ but it wasn’t.

There is so much rammed into this book it’s amazing. It reads beautifully and the content is gripping, sexy and will keep you awake all night reading!

So glad that I have the next book ready to run straight into, and that’s where I’m heading now.

A great ending to this one and some fantastic character development. I’m certainly hoping to see more of Z and Luchas too!

Road to Ruin Review

Title: Road to Ruin

Author: Callie Hart and Jonny James

I love the prologue, it gives a really clear picture of what Alex and his family are like. The expectation, the dramatic flair and the insanity all wrapped in to one.

I really liked this book! I like how the characters are connected but not intertwined. Alex’s aloofness and West and Vaughan’s crazy all help to make them stand out individually while still melding them into the dark underworld in which in they dwell.

I like Nikita as the light to the story, a light born of darkness, that every now and then dips her toes into the shadows. You got to be fairly strong willed to work in her field in a prison. She’s not just strong willed though, forged from steel through and through with a very small well hidden vulnerable side.

Really looking forward to seeing where this sorry goes! Callie and Jonny have done a fantastic job!

Worship Me Review

Title: Worship Me

Author: Chelle Bliss

This is novella following the Men of Inked and ALFA PI series’.

A fab little peek back in with Izzy and James 😊

A little work mixed in with a little play is never a bad thing. When Izzy hires a new tattooist who happens to be a woman, all breaks lose with the women in the family.

Fun, flirty and sexy. This little book has it all! A great weekend read, get comfy with your glass of wine and dive back in to the Gallo family business!

Deathless Review

Title: Deathless

Author: Anne Malcolm

This is book two in the Vein Chronicles series, see my other review here;

1 –

Another great story! It took a bit more working through this one than the last but I’m pretty sure that’s just because there is so much going on!

I loved the character development with Sophie (she’s my fave), as well as Scott and the addition of Duncan in this book is awesome!

This is one confusing chuck of story! All tied around a pretty confusing prophecy. Slightly different for each race, tweeted and change time and again. Along with secrets, lies and betrayal – what more can you want?!?!

A fab place to end and I’m really looking forward to the next section 😊

Fatal Harmony Review

Title: Fatal Harmony

Author: Anne Malcolm

This is book one of the Vein Chronicles series.

I was really not sure what would happen in a vampire book that isn’t the Black Dagger Brotherhood. But, Well, lots of things!

What an ending! I’m so glad I’ve got book two to read, how anyone who read this and then had to wait is not completely insane by now I don’t know!

I really loved this book, a fantastic start to the series and a crazy ending!

Isla is a great character, she’s sassy and strong. She knows her own mind and isn’t afraid to go against the grain.  There’s some fabulous alpha characters and sooner awesome supporting characters to; Scott and Sophie are Awesome!

Heading straight into book two!

The Chosen Review

Title: The Chosen

Author: JR Ward

This is book 16 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, see my other reviews here;

Another fantastic story in this series! I Have no idea how the author can manage to continue this story and find new things to write about – but she does! And blows it out of the water every time!

What a journey of self discovery this book becomes.  Not only for Layla and Qhuinn but Tohr, V, Xcor and Wrath. Well, to be honest, pretty much every one of the characters involved are put through the wringer.
This is a really emotionally tumultuous book which keep’s the pages turning. Just when I thought I had an idea of how and where it was going something else cropped up and changed the whole direction. Ann’s this wasn’t just a one off thing, but happened repeatedly throughout the book.

I love the character development throughout the series and the snippets we get back in with other couples is great.

I really can’t say much without giving the whole thing away but it was fantastic! Everyone should read it!

Edge of Brotherhood Review

Title: Edge of Brotherhood

Author: Molly E Lee

This is book 6 in the Love on the Edge Series, read my other reviews here;

Okay so I started this book this morning, and finished it, well now.

I absolutely loved the writing style and going through the story from for different perspectives was fantastic! Not nearly as confusing as I thought it would be, it helped to keep the pace and the story light rather than deep and intense.

There were definitely a few moments that could have taken this book down a darker path had the writing style been different.

A fantastic read, a compelling story. A journey of family, without the blood ties. Men that have fought hard for their women as we already know, learning how to trust outside of that relationship. Thrown into one of the most dangerous places on the planet with the hope of survival.

Another amazing adventure story, a fantastic finish and great lead into the next book. It has been a while since I have devoured a book with such ease and without a crazy book hangover.

Can’t wait to see what comes next!

Existential Review

Title: Existential

Author: Max Henry

This is book four of the Fallen Aces MC series, see my other reviews:

Okay so I’ve given myself 24 hours to try and find some words about this book and I’m still completely speechless.

I absolutely loved Hooch! I knew from the snippets of him we’ve seen in previous books that his story would be amazing!

Oh, he is so beautifully broken. He’s not twisted like Sawyer, but who is or could be, he’s broken, grieving. I know from pretty early on that this was gonna be an emotional mess, and it was, in the best way.

Another tricky back story and difficult subject matter handled so elegantly, with tact and decorum.  If you can say that about MC life lol

Max really knows how to tell a story and there is so much happening in this book. Not just the emotional onslaught but absolutely action packed too!

This is a fantastic story of love. Love isn’t just handed to us on a silver platter, we’ve got to earn it and we’ve got to make it work. One of my favourite sayings is that nothing worth doing is easy. And Hooch and Dagne sure as hell ain’t got life easy!

“We’ve got the pieces, babe. We just need to figure out how they all work together.”

I’ve loved all of Maxs’ books and this is no different. I particularly like the end of the acknowledgements, strange I know. That the final piece of the book I get to read is about her and her life, a little slip of the author as a person behind the book is really lovely and a perfect ending!

Ends Here ReviewΒ

Title: Ends Here

Author: M Robinson

This book follows Road to Nowhere, read my review here:

1 –

After the ending in the first book I was really excited to go into this one.

Another twisting, turning, heart wrenching piece of writing that keeps you turning the pages.

Its so hard to write a review for this without giving the whole game away but the connection between our three main characters is amazing.

I loved how similar but completely different Noah and Creed are.  The way your heart can bend and change but the truth always wins out.

This is a really cleverly put together book and a fantastic little duet!
