Wow! What an experience!

I was definitely excited to get stuck in to Six and Bre and knew that theirs would be an exciting tale. I think it’s safe to say that I was not quite ready for that!

Would Six be able to open herself up to the O`Kane’s? To Bren? To herself? Was his effort bore from duty or from care? How would that change the outcome?

In a lot of ways they are polar opposites; the rough and the smooth, the hard and the soft, the pain and the pleasure. Whether she knows it or is willing to admit it he saved her, but she saved him too!

What a perfect match up, if  can ever story their stuff out! Another rollercoaster taking us into some hot scenes priming ready for the next book.

I love the combined journey, from the vantage of each couple we are seeing the whole group come together, to grow, learn and expand. How each individual melts in to the greater being. That this is not just the story of Six overcoming her anxiety and pain, but also of Bren, becoming the man he can be and admitting fault, love and lust.

There are still stories I can’t wait to read! A lot of people in the side waiting for their chance to shine. I don’t doubt that the following stories will be as captivating, well written and hot as this has been!

Today

So today I’ve uploaded all my reviews to Amazon and Goodreads.

I’ve uploaded some to Amazon before but I’ve always been a bit hit and miss about what reviews I did and went where. Now I’m blogging I thought it would be best to make sure that all the reviews on here are also on both platforms, so that’s what I’ve done.

I’ve got a review written and ready to share later this week for Homeward Bound from Golden Czermak which is releasing 6th June and the review is already posted for The Fortunates by Skyla Madi (The Fortunates Review) and I will load onto Amazon next week as that also releases on 6th June 🙂

What to read now … well I’m heading back into Sector Four with Kit Rocha and reading Beyond Pain, which is book three, working towards Beyond Ecstacy. I’m looking forward to seeing what will be happening with Ashton Scott this week, slightly delayed but still coming. I love getting an episode each week and it really seems to work for the author as well; just taking small chunks rather than writing the whole lot in one go, although I imagine the full story is already plotted.

Steal My Breath Review

Title: Steal My Breath

Author: Nina Levine

What a breath of fresh air! This is romance and love, love the real world.

I have enjoyed Nina’s other series’ but they are set in a world I’m not normally a part of. She does such an amazing job drawing us in and making believe the world she has created with edgy, gritty characters covered in muscle and ink it almost comes as a surprise to meet Callie.

She could be someone you know, your friend, your sister, maybe even yourself. She is so completely someone you know that it makes it so simple to fall into her world and get swept along with her. I think this is what makes it such a comfortable read.

Now, don’t get me wrong here. There are ups and downs a plenty. This is by no means an easy ride or a straight forward story but Nina makes it so easy for us to live and love with these characters you too will be desperately waiting on the next book!

Another fantastic story from the wonderful Nina Levine!

Beyond Control Review

Book 2 in the Beyond Series. See the reviews for previous books:

Book 1 – Beyond Shame Review

I was excited to see this is a look into our Sector King and his beautiful partner in crime, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint!

It was clear to see from the previous book that they have a tumultuous relationship and are both used to getting their own way but the twists and turns are dizzying!

Lexi was never going to be an easy one to read, in book one you could see the depths hidden within and the internal battles she fought to become who she is. It is very satisfying to see her from the beginning, to see what she has fought and conquered, to allow herself to be the woman she was meant to be.

Dallas fucking O’Kane. The one, the only. Our sector leader, cocky and amazing, how much is he willing to give up for his woman? He’s an all or nothing kind of guy and that could be exactly what he ends up with!

I loved the ending here, what a bloody ride!

Beyond Shame Review

Title: Beyond Shame
Author: Kit Rocha

Book 1 in the Beyond Series

What a great way to introduce us to sector life, walking into sector four in Noelle’s shoes, rescued by the wall with arms; Jasper McCray.

A young privileged woman alone and frightened in a dangerous place she doesn’t know or understand. Thrust unwittingly into the biggest gang in the sectors. Will she sink or will she swim and who will be on the ride with her?

Does our naive, young wallflower have the strength, grit and determination to survive out in the sectors or will she lose what little of herself she knows in the overwhelming feelings  being truly alive.

I love the snippets we get into some of the other couples and the bits that are picked back up in subsequent books ties it all together beautifully!

I do like a strong female character and this series promises a few of them. With some equally demanding, hot men around to boot. There’s some amazingly hot scenes in this book with the promise of plenty more to come!

Honor Me Review

Title: Honor Me
Author: Chelle Bliss
Cover Design: Chelle Bliss

Oh how I love our dirty talking biker.I love a hot, stacked, alpha and City and James definitely tick my boxes! Joe was the first Gallo man we met and when he loves, he loves hard. The lengths he will go to for his woman are amazing, nothing is too big or small!

Being married with kids tends to be the bit that happens after the HEA. The story is normally boy meets girl, boy chases girl, boy catches girl, boy marries girl and then they live happily ever after. So it’s been nice to check back in with City and Suzy in the other stories along the way, but really good to dive back in with them properly.

I love the raw honestly with which Chelle addresses Suzy’s depression after having the girls. It is great that there is such a fab female support system in this family, that she was able to lean on and be understood by. Often in life we don’t have that, but then not everyone has that alpha presence making sure they’re safe too!

Another rollercoaster of a book that keeps you on edge all the way through, captivating storytelling and raw emotion leaves you breathless in parts! A really great read and well worth ***** in my opinion!

The Gallo men all fought fiercely for their women, and now they are dad’s too I know they will fight for their families as well! I felt a bit lost in some parts as I haven’t read the ALFA PI series so there were a few characters that I didn’t know but it didn’t take anything away from the story and has given me a new series to look into too!
