You know it’s gonna be a good book when the opening says this:

“If the word ‘fuck’ offends you, please don’t read this book.”

I love the back and forth over the first few chapters. Hinting at who they are and how they came to be, bits that went on in the past affecting who they are today without spelling out all the details is very cleverly done.

Well Amo has only gone and done it again, another amazing alpha male! I was a bit disappointed at leaving the Sinful Souls MC but to be reunited again and tied back into their lives is great. What a fabulous way to link in as well, the girls tie over both series beautifully and despite some tensions the boys works together too.

Beast has been through some awful things, but when he saves a young woman it sets his life on a new path. We see the hints of love and laughter with Jada and Hella and his family only extends once he is free.

Meadow is a sad, lonely, frightened young woman at the end of her rope. Until she is saved by her dark knight. When he doesn’t return she moves on with her life and makes big changes in the world around her, but there is always a dark part lurking and waiting, wondering what became of him.

There is some serious action in this book! Beast and Hella are  not your average duo, Devil’s Own is not your average MC, these girls know how to kick ass and take names.

I couldn’t put it down once I started and I’m sure you won’t be able to either! Heading off in to book two, hoping it’s Hella!

You know it’s bad when people don’t even argue with your bad boy. When a look is enough to silence the stupid you just know that he is going to be the business!

Ade is amazing! I just don’t think that it is possible for Amo to write your average man? He is hot, tattooed, pierced and hard as nails. We are taken deeper into the MC world in this book and there is definitely a darker twist throughout.

Kalie is so super sweet, she’s lovely 😊 but she’s not cut out for his way of life. He didn’t go there in previous books for this reason, he didn’t want to drag her down into his world. Sometimes fate has different ideas!

This is a fabulous story of second chance love, will she give Ade chance to make life right? or will another man make his move? There are dark plot lines, hero’s, heroines, babies, weddings and more. This book literally takes you through every emotion and back again!

I have also been speaking with Penelope Marshall about setting up her blog list and getting her information out there. She has a new PA who is setting up her review team and newsletter. I’ve received the first lot of information through and it looks really great! There has been a great response from the blogs too. Looks like just a case of getting the right bits and bobs set up and in place for her.

I have been chatting with Skyla Madi about what is going on in the New York Crime Kings series and have offered to beta for her which she might take me up on which is really exciting! WS Greer is also on the look out for Beta readers and I’ve offered there too.

I am currently not reading anything and have given myself a bit of a break from ARC reading for a while so that I an focus on reading a few things that I want to.

There are plenty of exciting things going on in the book world at the minute and Golden Czermak has brought forward the release of Book 4 in the Journeymen Series to December as well 😆 Isabel and Wes both have books releasing around the same time as does Penelope so it definitely looks like it’s going to be an exciting December !

Looking forward to trying my hand at beta reading for something similar but different !

Okay so Zane was hot! But Blake is hot too … and hard-core.  He holds no punches, he takes no prisoners and he shows no mercy.

Vicky is young and free, enjoying life. She comes from money and so is young and carefree without having to worry about making rent or how much she spent on those last shoes. She loves life and she lives it fast and loose. At least until a certain sexy biker rocks her world.

They are the perfect opposites. Yet she still has enough backbone to be able to hold her own when she needs to. I love that the women in this series are not weak or washy. They are as solid as the men they stand beside.

I really liked the way we went back in time before starting, seeing how they met before Alaina and everything that happened in Perilous Love. I really liked the dynamic with Vicky and her family and how the group works as a whole.

My favourite quote of the book has to be this one, this is just the book in one line! A classic, with a fresh edgy twist.

“You got me at Metallica,” I whisper, looking deep into his eyes.

Really looking forward to heading into book 3!

Well wow … I’m not really sure what to say to that one!

I love this series, it sucked me in at book one and hasnt let me go yet. I love it all, the plot, the characters, everything it’s fab.

Emily just continues to amaze me. She’s gone from this shy, frightened, mousey girl  (let’s be fair we’ve all been that girl at some point) to this strong willed, independent woman; from kitten to lion. We come back to her observance in this book which is nice. In the earliest book she almost admired the tattoos skull has, seeing the beauty in the artwork and the time and changes he had to go through to make himself this man and here we see snippets of this and the man underneath.

I think it’s fair to say that Skull is deranged, he’s a great bay guy! In this book we see more of the man underneath, how an everyday person can go from that to this insanity and really bringing us into his world. We all have to own our own behaviour and make peace with life when it doesn’t go our way, if this isn’t a reminder that bad things can happen to good people then I’m not sure what is.

I would love to see more of Damien going forward. Skull is cool but I really enjoyed the snippets here.

Well Jai’s mission is complete … he got his brother, except that he needed to save his other half… but in doing that they lost Emily. Poor guy has got life hard atm 😦

I absolutely flew through this book and read it in one day! Another great read from Penelope Marshall. 

I love the writing style and how she sucks you right into the action. There’s plenty of action and a fabulous ending, as one would expect nothing is as it seems 🙂

Unfortunately the story isn’t for me as I don’t like cheating. There is great explanation through their thought processes and emotional turmoil, the writing is great. A great book but not for me.

This is a standalone novel.

I really enjoyed this one and love Willows style of writing. It’s fast faced with plenty to keep you going.
Kane is a contradiction of himself, he’s hard and cold but soft and sweet.  He will do whatever he needs to do to survive this life and the position he has found himself in, but he wasn’t expecting to have someone else on the ride with him. 

The story line is similar to Bad Boy, in that, she seems something she’s not supposed to, he takes her rather than killing her and then trains herand falls in love. But, where the lead in Bad Boy is unsure and too hard and too soft, Kane is perfect! He knows just when to push and expects perfection, all tied up in the perfect ending.

Another fantastic job from Willow Winters!

OMG totally doing a little happy dance … River Savage is coming!

I have absolutely loved some of the books I’ve read from confirmed authors but up until now they have all been new to me authors and while the books are great and I’m actually really enjoying connecting with so many new authors … this is River freaking Savage!

It’s been nearly two hours since to saw the announcement and I’m still doing an excited happy dance!

As we’ll only get two hours in the VIP section (let’s be fair that’s what we are going for!) I’ve been trying to hold it down to just a few authors to see so that I can spend time chatting with everyone but the list is just getting longer and longer. 

I can’t believe the organisers are already booking people in for the following year as well! I’ve offered assistance if required, although I’m sure plenty of people have too 🙂
