Wow. That was something else. The writing is beautiful, the intricate layers of emotion were breathtaking.

Charlotte is not your average heroine, she’s not your average anything. She’s double, or half, double and half both at the same time. Jacob is something else too.

The depth to these characters could be overwhelming. But the small doses of backstory and the drip feed of information as we go through allows them to build, clash, push and pull without overtaking the story.

The story, which is complicated, is captivating and complex. A little like the main characters incidentally. It was dark, depraved, exciting, hot as all hell. It was amazing. Another impressive 5 stars from me!
