Fall to Pieces Review

Title: Fall to Pieces

Author: Chloe Walsh

This is book two of the Broken Series, read my review for book one:

1 –

I was really torn between starting a book I had been waiting for and heading into book two of this series. In the end I went with starting this one, after the ending of the last book I just had to see what happened.

I actually preferred this book to the first one, and there aren’t many sequels that manage that. I read over 80% of the book in one go and was completely absorbed, my poor husband!

More twists, turns, lies, deceit and arguing. There is so much that happens in this book, a complete rollercoaster of emotion. I think Derek summed it up perfectly, what else could happen? Not much!

Another great read πŸ™‚

Just Breathe Review

Title: Just Breathe

Author: Rachel Brookes

I’ve had this on my kindle for a while. When Rachel was announced on the FbBF17 line up I downloaded it but haven’t got chance to read until now 😊

I loved Tate! He is so beautifully broken, so perfectly human that you can’t not love him. Sav is completely relatable and i love her push/pull dynamic.

They were a great couple to follow and I look forward to seeing who comes next

Break my Fall Review

Title: Break my Fall

Author: Chloe Walsh

Okay so Chloe was a late announcement to the line up at FBBF17. I’ve not read any of her books before but the first one (this one) is currently free so I thought, let’s do it!

A young girl on the run, tormented by the past and the demons that follow her into her new life. A man taken from nothing and given everything, including a second chance. A chance he may have squandered with one drunken mistake.

Lee and Kyle have unspoken chemistry; our wide eyed innocent girl is drawn to the power and charisma of her new roommate.  This can only spell disaster!

Can the womanizer be takes? Does she even want to tame him? What happens if the demons find them? A fabulously written turning tale and I can’t wait to dive into the next book!

Lines Drawn Review

Title: Lines Drawn

Author: Ker Dukey
This book follows Drawn to You, you can see my review for that book here;

1 –

The battle lines are drawn and we are going in! There will be no retreat, but maybe surrender, in it to win it!

I loved the twists and turns through this book and another fabulous ending!

The connections between the characters are fantastic and I really enjoyed how everyone rallied together when needed.

There is a real sense of family between this group, unsurprisingly lol and you are certainly kept on your toes throughout the book.

A fabulous read!

Drawn to You Review

Title: Drawn to You

Author: Ker Dukey

This is my first book by this author, when the option became available to read an arc of book two I signed up and started on book one πŸ™‚

And I’m really glad I did. There are lies and secrets, twists, turns and half truths a plenty.

The writing is really easy going and compelling. This book was so easy to read, really enjoyable and will leave you begging for book 2!

Which I’m going to start now!

Truth Revealed Review

Title: Truth Revealed

Author: Kayla Greenwood-Robichaux

This is book two of the Confessions duet, read the review for book one here;

1 –

Well, wow. I have literally just read this in one evening.  Before I even realised how far through I was, I was at 84% and it was still getting better. This is an absolute page turner and I could not put it down!

It is pretty obvious that the author has done plenty of research for this book. There are no gaps in the flow, the level of information is perfect! We are very gently guided through a very difficult period of Vi’s life.

I really liked the way we were lead through what had happened over the last 10 years.  Not just the incident that changed both their lives forever, but what went before and came after.

It was very cathartic reading for me.  I know there are warnings in the beginning of the book, this book covers some deep subjects and obviously there are things tested that should be done under controlled circumstances. That being said, I can completely see the links that are made and why and how it would work. Sex as a therapeutic healing session sounds fantastic!

There are some amazingly hot scenes and as ever the connection between the two of then is fantastic! I love the writing style and the authors ability to draw you in and keep you there.

I have completely run out of words to express how absolutely awesome this book is. The combination of dark and light, the way they compliment each other without knowing. The unknown draw between them. It’s done so beautifully and a very difficult situation is dealt with carefully and tactfully.

I love it! It’s not the dark and twisty stuff I’ve been reading recently, a refreshing change without being sickly sweet.  Perfection!

Still Waters ReviewΒ

Title: Still Waters

Author: Anne Malcolm

Well, Anne is a new to me author recommended by a friend. So when the opportunity came up to read her new release, that wasn’t part way through a series, it must be fate. So I signed up πŸ™‚

And I’m really glad I did! There are great peeks into the MC world I think she’s already written. Enough information to inform, so I knew who everyone was and where they fit in, without there being gaps in the story.

This book is filled with hot hot alpha men! There are hot alpha bikers, hot alpha soldiers and hot alpha security men – I’m not sure exactly where this place is, but I definately need to visit!

I went into the story sceptical, I’m not really an insta love kinda girl. But this isn’t insta love – insta lust maybe, and I’m reasonably familiar with that!

I love the crazy world that Lucy lives in, the crazy personal history and the deep darkness she shields within. There are some really deep and emotional sections throughout this book and the connection between Kelton and Lucy is fantastic.

We are taken on a twisting turning weaving journey. Love, lust, secrets, heartbreak, death and betrayal. This book has it all in bucket loads. The writing really keeps you turning the pages too. This is a great story, beautifully written!

I’m definately looking forward to reading more from this author!

Rooke review

Title: Rooke

Author: Callie Hart

So we start off with a young privileged guy, boosting cars because it’s fun. Then he gets locked up and his parents essentially disown him, I think. He’s still in contact with his grandfather so when he’s asked to go see him, he does.

There he crosses paths with Sasha, an ‘older’ woman with a sad aura. He follows her and finds out about her and the tragic accident she was in with her son that changed her life.

Now he’s chasing her, despite the baggage, despite the potential ex husband and the age difference. I love it.

Oh God I think I love him. The writing is amazing! It’s so easy to picture our hero as the fabulous Jonny James; silent, broody and deadly but with a fun and light hearted side.

Once again Callie has managed to suck me into the story and I couldn’t put this one down. I love his determination and her inner strength is admirable.

I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

Road to nowhere Review

Title: Road to Nowhere

Author: M Robinson

It starts with you.

It does indeed. The buck starts and ends with you. Not just for laying blame and paying penance but for forgiveness. You are the only one that can release those feelings of entrapment and move forward.

What a story to tackle! The emotional onslaught that so many people went through that day, the aftermath and fall out is captured so devastatingly beautifully.

Once the story gripped me I was absolutely drawn in and pulled through, they’re was no putting this one down! Can’t wait for book two!
