Title: He
Author: Kailee Reece Samuels
This is the second part of the S/He duet.
I preferred the dual POV in this book to the singular in the first. We get much more insight into what has gone before which explains a lot of what happened in book one and sets the tone for this one.
It’s definately a page turner but I’m still not feeling the connexion with the characters and found them a bit disjointed.
I think because I didn’t connect with the characters I struggled with the story. It all felt a bit sensationalistic and their internal monologue didn’t translate into their actions very well.
I liked the ending and the progress that Natalie makes towards the end of the book. I loved Zoe and Randy’s roles and would love to see some of their stories in the future.
